  • How We Serve Church Plants

    Common Challenges

Today, denominations around the world are closing more churches than are sustained and/or planted. While resurrecting some of the dying churches is an option, many times starting over is the optimal choice. But planting only one church is not enough. Churches must plant churches.

Unfortunately, the secondary reason churches do not plant churches is a lack of funds (a lack of leadership is the primary reason ).

    How We Add Value

Hesed Consulting, Inc. works with pastors and leadership teams of church plants who need to raise between $200,000 and $1M in order to sustain the vision for the first 5 years.

  • How We Serve K-12

    Common Challenges

No one wants to live in a community without quality K-12 schools. These schools create an environment for children who live in that community to learn and thrive. Parents also have access to the educators and administrators and can more readily participate in their child's education and extra-curricular activities.

Unfortunately, with all this good-will and investment, most school administrators do not have the tools and time to raise money to enhance what is given by the state and their district. As a result, expanding their influence and impact on the students and community seems out of reach.

    How We Add Value

Hesed Consulting, Inc. has solved this problem with seven 7-minute animated videos and a 21-question survey called Dialysis! that guides school administrators and even active volunteers through the seven ways they can raise money and the two ways their school or district should focus, along with three to four 'next steps.'

  • How We Serve Foundations

    Common Challenges

While nonprofits serve the community directly, foundations serve the community indirectly by investing financial and human resources in nonprofits. When a foundation awards a grant, they want the impact on the community to be significant and evident. Unfortunately, many foundations end the year having given millions of dollars to nonprofits, but are challenged to see growth equivalent to their investment.

Hesed Consulting, Inc. believes many foundations want to diversify and expand their grantee pool, but many times award grants to the same kinds of nonprofits. Sustainable revenue is the issue. Many nonprofit leaders do not have the tools and ongoing support to raise sustainable revenue.

Sustainable revenue ensures that the nonprofit will at least maintain their mission year after year. When a foundation gives a special gift 2-3 years consecutively under these circumstances, growth can occur. If the nonprofit's revenue is not sustainable or significantly restricted, a gift from a foundation only maintains the nonprofit short-term versus grows their efforts and long-term positive impact.

    How We Add Value

Hesed Consulting, Inc. partners with foundations using Dialysis!. In effect, Dialysis! prepares the nonprofit for the infusion of capital from the foundation to move the nonprofit farther down the field and to ensure a greater impact on the community and return on the foundation's investment.
